Met a friend here for coffee after having been recommended the cafe as a good breakfast/brunch spot. I couldn't figure out why until I got there and tried their bacon biscuit breakfast sandwich (you can try it with honey or jam, but go for the honey... you won't be disappointed!) and the iced creme brulee latte. I appreciate a barista (or anybody in the food service industry, for that matter) who can tailor food or drink items to my needs without an attitude, and this barista did exactly that so I could be mindful of my sugar intake. She recommended sugar free syrups AND she didn't give me a hard time for it. Truly leading the way for customer service! I will most definitely be back. Zocalo is clean, spacious, and has a home-like feel to it. There's also an expansive childrens' area in the back in case you want to go in for a cup of coffee or breakfast with the little ones.

Taking a drive towards San Francisco and wanted a non Starbucks coffee experience. Pulled up Yelp and did a quick search, found Zocala. Parking was easy street parking, i believe it was $0.50 for 1 hour. Staff was very friendly, and it's more than a coffee shop, a lot of spots to sit and enjoy their food options too. I caught a glimpse of a salad that looked good. We got the Borgia (mocha w orange) and a 4 shot caramel latte.. both iced. The iced drinks come in one size, so easy ordering. I cannot believe how much I like this Borgia, it's delicious! Great find. Stop in, you won't be sorry.

My sister lives nearby so i decided to try this place out for a few hours of working. Lots of tables and lots of electrical outlets if you need some power when working! I really appreciate this - not many places make sure it's easy to get work done. The cashier was super friendly. I got a coffee and avocado toast. It was super fresh and pretty and very tasty. So many places skimp on the avocado but this is not the case here. The greens were a nice touch as well. And the radish was pretty. Definitely recommend Zocalo!! I will come back!!

I wished I lived closer because this place was nothing short of great! Ample indoor seating as well as a few outdoor tables (plus a small play corner for your little kiddos). Great food and coffee options! The crème brulee latte and breakfast biscuit sandwich were so tasty! Food is a little bit on the pricier side, but good portions! Will be making an effort to swing by again!
